Author's Note: I’m a multi-shipper. “I don’t have ‘ships; I have an armada.” Sam and Andy have my heart, but so do Nick and Andy. ;)Disclaimer: Rookie Blue and its characters don’t belong to me. Does anyone have a book or series rec for me? I'm looking for something in the paranormal romance, urban fantasy, or fantasy romance genres. And adult, please. I have nothing against YA books -- I've read Hunger Games -- but that's just not what I want to read at the moment. I spend so much time reading to my kids that I just don't want to read anything close to kids' fiction in my "free" time. If it helps, I like Karen Marie Moning's Fever series and Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series.( Read more...Collapse )
Still with me? ;) Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
If you want to give me recs for books outside the aforementioned genres, that's great, too. I'm not in the mood for lit fic right now, but I can hold the recs for later. :)
I've missed you all fiercely. Posting here is liking going home. :) If only offline-life didn't intrude so much on LJ time. ;) More on that sometime...
Thanks for responding to my Bones question. I'll be back to reply, but unfortunately, the girls (my 4-year-old and 14-month-old) and I all have a cold -- probably picked up at M's preschool. On the bright side, the pinkeye that's also making the rounds there hasn't come here.
Hugshugshugs to all of you, after a bath in disinfectant, of course.
