From the annals (or is it anals? *g*) of fic reviews:

"The characters may be a bit OOC, but that is the main purpose of fanfics, isn't it?"

"May need a bit of work but any story that has BB and Brennan eventually ymarried [sic] and pregnant is a winner in my book ! !"

That's it; I'm done.

well there you have it. Which is why I never bother commenting to bad fic writers.

I just opened my f-list in another tab, and I see fic from you! A little B/A from a2z is just what the doctor ordered. I'm reading it right now--and smiling. Thank you.

Please don't rub it in.

I just browsed the archives of Bones's FF.net page and I think I'll stick to keeping my eyes shut and mouse off the review button(okay, so technically it's a drop-down).

Apt tag, though. I just love the way you put things.

I know my posts about bad!fic were negative. We were talking about bad!fic, after all. But I do realize there is good!fic out there, too; that's just not what I read this week!

Apt tag, though.

Thanks. *g* It seemed appropriate.

I just love the way you put things.

Again, thank you. But if and when the day comes when you read something of mine that looks like bad!fic, please tell me. I'll join you in laughing and then will slink off to give myself fifty lashes before I allow myself to touch a keyboard again. ;)

Opinions are like assholes; everybody's got one. *g*

I'm not a religious person, but I think when God started giving brains to people, some of them where out and when they came back, he was out of brains and gave them noodle soup or something.

Yeah, you try and give them the review they deserve (even not being mean), be sure they'll get the angriest ever. 'You're not a writer!!', I read once. Yes, but I'm a reader.

I really don't know if I want to laugh or to cry. ;)

Noodle soup for brains sounds about right. :P

Yes, but I'm a reader.

Absolutely!

I really don't know if I want to laugh or to cry. ;)

I've done both.

I'm done. Really. *takes a deep, cleansing breath*

Reading bad!fic and scary comments might put me off writing. Or I might absorb weird writing tics. I really don't need those; I'm sure I have plenty already.

Yes, give it up for Lent. You know it makes sense. Unless you went to ff.net as a form of penance in which case, stick to the 50 lashes: far less painful on the soul.

Since Sara knows best, I shall heed her. :D

I'd ymarry you, 'cause you're that awesome. Definitely the "anals" in this case. Even seeing it secondhand hurts.

*dies laughing* I'd ymarry you, too.

Kinda makes you want to stick a fork in your eye, doesn't it?

I can't tell you how tempted I am to write a story about Brennan and Booth getting ymarried after they have sex one time during which they both take their pants off over their heads after dancing maniacally to Hot Blooded while eating macaroni and cheez and Thai food mixed together and Brennan gets pregnant and finds that out the VERY NEXT MORNING cuz she starts puking at the lab and then they will be having twins and plz to be living happily ever after forever OMG in their house of tru wuv except for the one time when Cam--that eViL biatch--comes over and tries to kill Brennan and her bebes because she is so jealous of their love and she has never gotten over SeeLY Booth. But SeElY gets there just in time and shoots her. Then Sully arrives and...

Sorry; you've gotta wait for the next chapter.

Indeed. *runs and hides in a corner*

The bad fic reviews are almost as funny as the bad fics themselves. I laugh, but then I feel bad about it, cause I have a confession to make: I read quite a lot of fanfic, but I rarely, if ever, leave reviews.

Hi, my name is Alyson, and I lurk.

There is much to love in the stories AND the reviews. ;)

I read quite a lot of fanfic, but I rarely, if ever, leave reviews.

From what I can tell, that's what the vast majority of people do. Don't know if that should make you feel better or worse. *g* Fanfic writers consistently commiserate about how few comments they get relative to the number of hits they get on their stories.

*cringes*

Shoot me now. Please.

Bwahaha! I actually read that first summary and thought "uh, pass!"

I've been having so much trouble finding really good Bones!fic. I don't know if it's the age of a fandom, or simply that the good writers are off doing something else (the exception being you, of course :)

My previous fandom was Buffy, and there were many good writers and absolutely wonderful authors. Folks who knew the difference between 'we're', 'where' and 'were', could keep characters within character, and understood proper punctuation and paragraph formation.

I just miss the days where I could spend hours poring over great writing, without coming across any "I toatlly suck at sumaries but read anyway... dont forget to R&R!!"

*sigh* Thank the Lord you're around!

"The characters may be a bit OOC, but that is the main purpose of fanfics, isn't it?"

Hmmm - did you get that one? I know I've seen it recently!

Either way - holy hell. It's WRONGNESS on a monumental scale :)

Hmmm - did you get that one? I know I've seen it recently!

No, thankfully. I might die if either of those comments were directed at me. *g* That comment was left for one of the fics I recently read and did not enjoy so much.
