Bill Clinton @ the DNC
"They actually want us to reward them for the last eight years by giving them four more. Let's send them a message that will echo from the Rockies all across America: Thanks, but no thanks. In this case, the third time is not the charm."

God, Bill was so amazing last night. In fact, everyone was...I personally thought Beau Biden stole the show. I woke up this morning and was like, did all that actually happen? THIS ELECTION YEAR IS SO AMAZING.

Absofuckinglutely. :)

FABULOUS quote! I am so with you democrats on this one :)

While I'm well aware that things will never be perfect, no matter who's "in charge," what's happened to my country during Bush & Cheney's tenure is an absolute abomination. I still can't believe that someone who is so proud of his own ignorance was elected -- TWICE.

It is a complete mind-fuck, 'scuse the French indeed.

And no, maybe things will never be perfect, but they cannot get any worse than Bush, they just cannot.

*fingers crossed*

He wasn't elected twice: he STOLE the second election. [kicks chads.]

You are absolutely right; but unfortunately, it amounts to the same thing.

there are times when education should take a back seat to real life and I think the next 2 weeks are one of those times.

This week I've only managed to catch parts of all the BIG speeches because I was in school or didn't leave school in enough time to get home to see it. I'm so upset.

I know I saw Michelle Obama's speech, but I can't remember anything memorable from it. I caught Hillary Clinton's speech when she thanked :the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Suits" and for Bill Clinton, I didn't catch anything.

And today? I'll be lucky if I'll be able to catch ANY of it tonight.

I'm so peeved and this helps me NOT in discussions for my 2 Political Science classes. UGH

I believe you can watch the speeches online at http://www.demconvention.com/. Good luck!

I'll be glad when it's over and the Republican one comes around. I don't consider myself a full Republican, more of an independant, but more of my views line up with theirs than the dems.

Then I hope you'll enjoy the Republican convention.

Every now and again, a politico does a really fine speech. :-)

I loved, "No way, no how, no McCain."

*g* Yes, indeed. And you picked a great line. ;)

I wish that Bill could be president again. He did an amazing speech last night!

One of the best lines/parts of the speech! I agree. :)
