I don't care what your party affiliation is, but if you can vote today, please do. Thank you.

My grandmother (who works the polls every year with my grandfather) told me I didn't get my birthday present until I came over to her house with an "I voted" sticker on. Bribery, I tell you!

Our ballot was disconcertingly short today. I finished and was like 'that's it? really?' Anyhow, thanks for the reminders hun! *mwah

I voted! (Just like I did BOTH times to earn my right to complain and have this icon!)

I hope for a governor for my state who a) believes women are people and believes in health care for women and people, and b) doesn't end up in federal prison.

Or just a).

I voted and worked at my local polling place. was lots of fun

THAT'S AWESOME!!! Well, they have absentee ballots available, right?

I voted! I had to get a ride from my mom at 7:30 p.m. because I was having myoclonic jerks and couldn't safely drive myself, but I got there and did my thing! The shocking thing is when I called my folks to tell them I needed a ride, my dad said, "Why don't you just forget it? You should've gotten an absentee ballot." I couldn't believe my ears. This from the guy who about climbed out of his skin badgering me with, "Did you vote?" over and over for every election, even if it was for school boards where there was only one candidate for each position! I told him I absolutely would NOT forget it, that this involved national figures. As it turns out, a couple of the things I voted for were very close margins, so I'm glad I voted! *thumbs nose at Dad*
